Alzheimer's Assocation Dementia Caregiver Support Group

Meeting on November 4 at 1 p.m. The support group will be in the Annex.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Backpack Food Packing:  November 18 at 12:30 in Rome

 

Chattooga Resource Center (CRC): Volunteers are needed! Drop by to help for any amount of time that you have available.

 

Rome-Floyd Community Kitchen: Volunteers are needed on November 6th from 9 a.m. until noon. Contact Cheryl Farrar for more information

Men’s Club:

 

November 1: All Men are invited to meet at Jim’s at 8:00 a.m. for breakfast and fellowship. Plan to attend and bring a friend.

 

Friendship Circle:

 

November 13: Wildflower Café in Mentone (lunch). Meet at the church at noon and we will carpool from there. The Friendship Circle Christmas Lunch will be on December 15 at 12:30 p.m. It will be at the home of William and Elaine Crouch. Mark your calendar. More details in the December newsletter.

Don't Forget:

Sew Joyful group continues to work on the Quilted Hug Project, along with fidget/sensory blankets for Alzheimer and dementia patients.
